 CANINE GOOD CITIZEN FAST TRACK PREP CLASS This two-week class has been specifically implemented to assist families living on the Quantico Marine Base or in other area military base housing who have a breed that has been banned by the new directive banning Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and mixes of those breeds from living on coming onto the base unless the dog has been evaluated and passes the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. We have designed this course to familiarize you and your dog with the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification test components. The class will meet for two weeks, and participants will test on the third week. Please review the AKC Canine Good Citizen test components carefully. Dogs that will be most successful in this fast track program will be those that already have a good handle on basic dog obedience (sit, down, stay, come when called) and are friendly and well socialized. Please make note: If your dog exhibits any aggression toward other dogs and especially humans, he is not suitable for to take the test or this class.
